Our conversation was a good reminder that living life together, going beyond the simple conversations, and getting to the deeper (sometimes harder) is exactly what God calls us to do with Him as well, and this books screams at every page. This can be challenging for me, as I feel my situations dictate my day.
Although I am in Portland, I invite you to my "tea time" of having a Mary Heart in Martha World! As I open my heart to find nuggets of truth and tools to take with me on my journey of motherhood and womanhood.

Good morning...I'm having my tea as we speak and listening to a good message about being Do-ers of the word and not just Hear-ers of it. Josh and I have made our tea time a few walks around our block after dinner, 3 mintues in length but close enough to home so the kids can ride along with us or stay in the neighborhood until we make a lap to check in. Josh has added to our tea time, "What was the best part of your day, not the best, what did I do that you liked and what did you not so much like..." It's a great conversation starter. I'm starting my Mary/Martha book right now...can't wait. Oh yea, what's up with your first line and "Seattle"??? I'll keep checking in...
Hey, Girls! I'm tellin' ya! How much more special to me than to be connected with two of the most special girls in my life! I am so glad that you both have found something that works for both of you to keep your marriage a communicative one! Dad (Brian) and I have our love to bring our house to a place where it is ready at anytime, for any kind of party that we would chose to have . . . that's our "tea time." Isn't very romantic, huh? But here's the deal, how you communicate at your "tea time" can lead to things much more exciting and communicative in other ways!
As to my first line...I was implying that I was explaining to Jason my daily routine, and was exhausted just talking about it. Make sense?
You girls can start new posts at anytime. :)
